Glasgow Cyclefest - Kelvingrove Park, Sunday 25 JuneFollowing on the success of last year's Glasgow Cyclefest, Go Bike will again have a stall at Glasgow Cyclefest 2000. Last year the Glasgow Cyclefest was held for the first time in Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow, and was a great success. There were an incredible 59 different organisations or individuals involved. Amongst many others the CTC, Dales Cycles, Sustrans, the Variety Club, Friends of the Earth, Radio Clyde, Glasgow Police, Glasgow City Council, the West of Scotland Cycling Association and various other cycling and cycle racing organisations all made significant contributions. Competitions, stalls, races and rides were staged, attracting over 300 cyclists, who came and went in a constant procession, visiting the stalls and participating in many different events and rides of different lengths and degrees of difficulty. Glasgow Cyclefest 2000 will be under the auspices of the Scottish Cycling Development Project, in association with the Glasgow City Council Land Services Department and this year also with the Glasgow West End Festival.
