Ayr Road Route: Shawlands - Giffnock - Newton Mearns - Fenwick
In part on-road cycle lanes, and further out a dedicated cycle track, this route follows the A77 road most of the way to Kilmarnock. A connecting branch route links Thornliebank to Whitecraigs.

Dams to Darnley Route: Balgray Reservoir - Waulkmill Glen - Darnley
This route through the Dams to Darnley Country Park runs from the back of Barrhead, around several reservoirs, and down Corselet Road to Darnley. From there the Brock Burn Path can be followed to Silverburn Shopping Centre, and a signed cycle route on Damshot Road links to NCN 7 & 75.

Eaglesham Area Cycle Routes: Eaglesham - Waterfoot - Clarkston/Busby
Signage is provided from Eaglesham to Waterfoot along country lanes, then cyclists are directed onto the main road to Clarkston. A turn-off is provided for Busby, through a housing estate then into an industrial estate. Cyclists then have to use their initiative to find their way to Busby itself!

Eaglesham Area Cycle Routes: Eaglesham - Thorntonhall - East Kilbride
Signage is provided from Eaglesham to Thorntonhall along country lanes, then as far as the outskirts of East Kilbride.

Eaglesham Moor Road: Eaglesham - Kingswell
The Eaglesham Moor Road has had cycle lanes provided over the moor. This route connects with the A77 cycle route to Fenwick.

Eaglesham Area Cycle Routes: Eaglesham - Strathaven
Signage is provided from Eaglesham to pick up the East Kilbride to Strathaven signed cycle route. However, signage back to Eaglesham is only provided from near Lindsayfield, East Kilbride!

Signage is provided from Eaglesham and Waterfoot to Newton Mearns along Humbie Road. Signs then continue along Eaglesham Road to Mearns Cross.
