We are really sorry to announce that Saturday’s WCV Campaigners Training Day has had to be postponed due to the weather. We are sorry to disappoint but will aim to get a new date out for this as soon as we can. All ticket holders have been contacted but please do share the word around anyone you know who had been planning on coming on the day.

Yesterday one of our GoBike mini-campaigns ‘Space for People Byres Road’ took to the busy streets of Partick and Hillhead in a day of action to gather support for better provision for cyclists and pedestrians in Glasgow City Council’s plans for the upcoming £9m regeneration of Byres Road. On Friday the 9th of February a number of intrepid GoBike members took to the streets of Glasgow, the purpose being to bring the Cycling Embassy of Great Britain’s Insert Loved One Here #iloh social media campaign into the physical world.
Armed with bright orange spray chalk and some laser cut stencils, two teams adventured on their bikes to the roads of Glasgow.

Join Space for People Byres Road and GoBike on Sunday 25th of February to walk or cycle up Byres Road to Hillhead Library where we will hold a public meeting and present our vision of a Byres Road for People. Today nine hardy souls came out on Sauchiehall Street to support the councils efforts in improving the street for pedestrians and cyclists.
