We have an urgent request for your help from Friends of the Earth who have an e-action open here calling for their reform. It only takes half a minute – please support this if you can.

We are really sorry to announce that Saturday’s WCV Campaigners Training Day has had to be postponed due to the weather. We are sorry to disappoint but will aim to get a new date out for this as soon as we can. Yesterday one of our GoBike mini-campaigns ‘Space for People Byres Road’ took to the busy streets of Partick and Hillhead in a day of action to gather support for better provision for cyclists and pedestrians in Glasgow City Council’s plans for the upcoming £9m regeneration of Byres Road. On Friday the 9th of February a number of intrepid GoBike members took to the streets of Glasgow, the purpose being to bring the Cycling Embassy of Great Britain’s Insert Loved One Here #iloh social media campaign into the physical world.
Armed with bright orange spray chalk and some laser cut stencils, two teams adventured on their bikes to the roads of Glasgow.
