The ride on Sunday 07 June, to Irvine Beach, or for the fainter hearted, to Lochwinnoch, will be our longest one, so far, this year.

This ride will go out through Govan and Paisley to join the NCN route 7 to Irvine, much of which is railway path. We will stop at Lochwinnoch for lunch at Castle Semple Country Park, or in the town. Once we arrive in Irvine we will visit the beach, before returning to Glasgow by train
38 miles, largely on paths and quieter roads, and most of the hill climbing is around Dalry. Option to return from Lochwinnoch station (20 miles).
We will meet at the SEC, just to the east of the north end of Bell’s Bridge at 10:00
