Join us on 07 December for the GoBike “Northern Sights” ride

Some years ago we ran a “Northern Sights” city tour ride, but on the day there happened to be thick fog! So now it’s time to attempt again.

Springburn Park – derelict glasshouse

This tour takes an anti-clockwise loop around the northern side of the city, seeing a variety of sights, and starts by heading through the City Centre, then through Roystonhill to Springburn Park and Stobhill Hospital.

We then turn westwards to visit the Ruchill Park flagpole viewpoint, and continue through Botanic Gardens and Gartnavel to the tallest building in the city, Anniesland Tower. Next, we’ll head past the former Jordanhill College on our way to Victoria Park, then head into the West End to finish at Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery.
20 miles, mostly on paths and quieter roads, but some bits on main roads here and there, and a few hills.
We meet at 10am at the north end of Bell’s Bridge, Congress Road, Glasgow.
