This ride will see us meeting, as usual, near the north end of Bell’s Bridge at 10:00 and then only going (to) Halfway! We will head along the riverside to Glasgow Green, then onto the recently upgraded East City Way through Parkhead.
We will rejoin the Clyde Walkway and NCN75 to get to Westburn, then branch off to Halfway itself. The return will see us using a cycle route through Cambuslang, and we will skirt Rutherglen to reach Toryglen, where we will see some of the upgrade work at the Malls Mire Park. To finish, we will return into Glasgow along the South City Way.
18 miles, some on main roads, but back in time for lunch.
