Sunday 1 November 2026 – ride to the South and South-East with GoBike

Netherlee Road, Cathcart

Since the Aurs Road active travel infrastructure , previously to have been the focus of November’s ride, has not been completed, we will check it out in 2027.

In its place is an urban exploration of the south and southeast of the city area, taking in Hillpark, Cathcart, Castlemilk, Cambuslang, and returning into Glasgow along the Clyde Walkway. We will use the new cycleway on Dumbreck Road, and pass by the Clyde Cycle Park in Cambuslang. The finish point will be at Glasgow Green in time for lunch.
20 miles, with mostly urban streets, and a mix of cycle infrastructure. The main climb is up to Castlemilk.
