This month we will be cycling out to Inchinnnan to the new cycle bridge and then to the Erskine Bridge before heading home.
April will see us using the new bridge over the Black Cart at Inchinnan Road for the first time, on our way to Erskine. Once at Erskine, we will use the path network to reach the riverside, then go to the Erskine Bridge to cross to the north side, and see part of the upgraded A82 path. We’ll generally follow the Forth & Clyde Canal back to Glasgow, but will deviate via the redeveloped riverfront area in Clydebank. Depending on time, we may stop in Clydebank for lunch, or just continue home.
25 miles, mostly on quieter roads and paths.
We will meet, as usual, at 10am at the north end of Bell’s Bridge, Congress Road, Glasgow.
