Whether you spend this Saturday watching an expensive event taking place in London, walking through Glasgow on the All Under One Banner Independence March or doing whatever takes your fancy, Sunday will be a good time to explore somewhere new on your bike.
We will start off by heading for the new Sighthill Bridge, which is now open, then northeastwards through Petershill and Balornock to pass into the countryside at Robroyston. We will reach Lenzie and Kirkintilloch before turning to return to Glasgow via the Forth & Clyde Canal.
25 miles, mostly on quieter roads and paths.
Meet at the usual start, just to the north of Bell’s Bridge at the SEC at 10:00 hrs.
