This coming Sunday we will head out through Glasgow’s South Side, including Pollok Park, to Darnley, then climb up to the reservoirs between Newton Mearns and Barrhead. Our ride will then continue into Barrhead and return to Glasgow through Pollok, ending up in Govan to see progress on the new bridge to Partick.
The ride length is 22 miles, with a little on main roads, and with some climbing up to the reservoirs. There are also some non-asphalt paths.
The Great Scottish Run takes place on Sunday but Andy has taken note of that and we should avoid it!
Meet 10am at the north end of Bell’s Bridge, Congress Road, Glasgow and we should be back early afternoon.
